What is Transcendental Systems?
Transcendental Systems represent the ninth and most complex level in the hierarchy. This level deals with the areas of knowledge that are currently unexplained or reserved for ultimate, absolute truths.
Boulding included this level to acknowledge the limitations of current scientific and organized knowledge. It allows the model to be complete by encompassing the philosophical and unknown aspects of existence that lie beyond empirical definition.
