What is Archetype Dynamics?
Archetype dynamics refer to the behavior that a system’s structure creates over time. It is the story of the archetype, and you can see it on a graph that shows how different parts of the system change. While the structure is the “why” of the problem, the dynamics are the “what” you see happening in the real world.
For example, the dynamics of a “Fixes That Fail” archetype would show a problem getting a little better right after a quick fix, and then getting much worse later on. The dynamics of a “Growth and Underinvestment” archetype would show a period of great success that then slows down and maybe even declines.
